I haven't posted in forever, because it's typically much easier to tell the two people who comment what I would spend a few minutes typing out.

However, I wanted to post this. I threw it together this afternoon. It is my first attempt at orchestral music. It's kind of movie scorish. I doubt I'll leave it as is, because the ending is too abrupt. This is what I have so far though. The best part (in my opinion) is around 1:20 when the strings really kick in.

Here are multiple links for added convenience:

Here are two new songs that I am working on. The first one is somewhat, relatively, semi-done. The second one I just started playing with tonight, so I'm still going to change/add a lot.

http://media.putfile.com/Meidhreach  (this one got a little messed up during the upload, so it distorts a little in spots, but it's good enough quality to get the idea)

Edit:
This is an old post, but I needed to change a link. It was bothering me.

Now you too can have some of the music of Ben Carnes on your iPod. Or your computer. Or a CD. Or any other storage medium you choose to use. Or you could just listen to it. Or not.

The one that says "(in progress)" after it is, strangely enough, still very much in progress. The others vary in style/length/quality/etc... and I'm sick of hearing every single one of them. I may upload a few more soon.
